Procedures for Revocation/Suspension of Educational
Providership
An organization which holds a SACAVA Educational Provider and which breaches the Standards for Continuing Education, is subject to suspension and/or revocation of their Educational Provider status and number along with the forfeiture of all fees relative to Educational Providers.
Procedure: Specific allegations are to be made in writing to the Education Committee Chair who will forward the allegation to Education Committee members for review.
The Educational Provider will be informed and may be asked to provide documentation. Such documentation may include but is not limited to records of all continuing education offerings, resumes of training faculty, and specific evaluations of training events.
The Educational Provider has thirty (30) days to forward all the requested documentation to the Education Committee. A meeting will be held within three (3) months. Failure to comply with said request will place the Educational Provider on inactive status and , as such, all training during this time will not have SACAVA pre-approval.
The Educational Provider may appeal the decision to the Board by doing so in writing and a final determination will be made within three (3) months at a regularly scheduled meeting of the SACAVA Board. The Educational Provider may be represented at that meeting.
